OPEN HEAVENS BIBLE TEXT
Isaiah 43:18-21 [18]Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
[19]Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
[20]The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.
[21]This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.
OPEN HEAVENS MESSAGE
When God wants to set the stage for new things, He often starts by giving new miracles and blessings. When He wanted to deliver the Israelites from slavery in Egypt, He started by using Moses’ rod to perform several miracles that no one had ever seen (Exodus 4:17).
When Jesus came to establish a new covenant, He performed so many new miracles that people said they had never seen such things happen before (Mark 2:12). Likewise, when it was time for the apostles to take the gospel beyond Jerusalem into Samaria, Judea, and other parts of the world, Peter’s shadow began to heal the sick (Acts 5:15).
Personally, I have noticed that whenever God wants to take us to a new level in RCCG, He begins by introducing new miracles that have never been experienced in our midst.
Years ago, the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International had a convention in Port Harcourt, a city in Southern Nigeria and invited me to speak on the topic, ‘New Anointing’. As I spoke, l gave some examples of what God, in His infinite mercies, had done through me. When it was time to go home, the crowd began to surge forward such that l had to be guided into my car.
A woman who had a sister that had gone completely mad decided that she would touch my car if she could not touch me. So, she took out a handkerchief dropped it on the car I was in, and took it back before we drove off. On getting home, she asked six hefty men to hold her sister down. Waving her handkerchief, she said, “I have the solution in my hand.” She then took the handkerchief and laid it on her sister, and she became normal again.
When God wants to move you to a new level, He usually starts with new miracles. Hence, you must be on the lookout for such miracles in your life so you can understand your seasons. Beyond looking out for such miracles, you can also ask for them.
In Acts 4:29-30, the apostles asked God to facilitate the spread of the gospel by stretching forth His mighty hand to heal the sick and perform signs and wonders. The result of this prayer was tremendous growth and increase in the church (Acts 4:3 1-33). Beloved, ask God for new miracles in your life today. By doing this, you will initiate growth into a new season of your life.

Open Heavens Devotional Reflection – October 4, 2025 by Micromab
Reflection
God often ushers in a new season of blessings through new miracles. Each time He was about to shift His people into a greater dimension, He demonstrated His power in ways never seen before:
In Egypt, Moses’ rod performed wonders that broke Pharaoh’s grip.
Through Jesus, unprecedented miracles marked the start of the new covenant.
In the early church, even Peter’s shadow and Paul’s handkerchiefs carried healing.
These extraordinary acts weren’t for show; they signaled God’s movement into a new level of grace and breakthrough.
Application for Your Life
When God wants to elevate you, He may first release a miracle that breaks limits and opens doors. Don’t only celebrate past testimonies—watch for the new things He’s doing and ask Him for fresh encounters.
Like the apostles in Acts 4:29-30, you can pray boldly:
“Lord, stretch forth Your hand. Let new signs and wonders open the door to growth, breakthrough, and a new season in my life.”
To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever. Psalms 136:4
OPEN HEAVENS BIBLE TEXT
Exodus 12:21-30 [21]Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover.
[22]And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.
[23]For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.
[24]And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever.
[25]And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the LORD will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service.
[26]And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service?
[27]That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD’S passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.
[28]And the children of Israel went away, and did as the LORD had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.
[29]And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.
[30]And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.
OPEN HEAVENS MESSAGE
There are e two kinds of wonders – the good and the bad. In 2 Kings 5:1-27, there was a man called Naaman, who was the captain of the host of the king of Syria. He was a leper, and Elisha asked him to go and wash in River Jordan so he could be healed. When he did, his skin became like that of a newborn baby – this is an example of a good wonder.
After this, Gehazi, the servant of the man of God, ran after Naaman and fraudulently collected the gifts Elisha rejected. When Elisha discovered this, he cursed Gehazi saying, “l command that the leprosy of Naaman will cleave to you.” Immediately, Gehazi was covered with leprosy and became as white as snow -now, this is an example of a bad wonder.
When God manifests Himself, He performs good wonders in the lives of His children. He is gentle to His children, but He is also a consuming fire to those who refuse His Lordship. In today’s Bible reading, the children of Israel enjoyed the good wonder of preservation and escape from the angel of death.
However, at the same time, the Egyptians experienced God’s judgement. At the Red Sea, while the Israelites saw the mighty wonder of God as the sea parted for them to walk through it, the Egyptians were drowned by that same sea (Exodus 14:21-28). God is a God of wonders, but the type of wonders a fellow will experience from Him will depend on whether he or she is for Him or against Him.
Beloved, are you on the Lord’s side (Exodus 32:26) or in the devil’s camp? It is not only unbelievers who are not on the Lord’s side; carnal Christians are also not on His side. Paul said in Romans 8:7 that the carnal mind is enmity against God because it is not subject to God’s law and can never be. A carnal Christian wants to do things his or her way but not in God’s way.
Such Christians are moved by what they see and not by God’s word. Anyone who lives like them will not enjoy God’s good wonder. If you are not yet born again and you want God to make your life an example of a good wonder to others, come to His side today and surrender all to Jesus. If you are already God’s child, refuse to be a carnal Christian and totally surrender your mind to be constantly renewed by His word.

OPEN HEAVENS REFLECTION
Check your life; are you preparing to experience God’s good or bad wonder?
Summary Of Open Heavens For Today 3rd October 2025
God performs two kinds of wonders: good wonders for those who are fully aligned with Him and bad wonders for those who oppose Him. Examples include Naaman’s healing and the Israelites being spared during the Passover, contrasted with Gehazi’s leprosy and the Egyptians’ destruction. Whether one experiences God’s blessings or judgment depends on their relationship with Him; carnal Christians who follow their own ways rather than God’s Word may miss His good wonders. Believers are encouraged to surrender fully to God and renew their minds through His Word, while non-believers are urged to come to Jesus to experience His mercy and favor.
1 In Christ alone, my hope is found He is my light, my strength, my song This Cornerstone, this solid ground Firm through the fiercest drought and storm What heights of love, What depths of peace When fears are stilled, when strivings cease My Comforter, my All in All Here in the love of Christ I stand
2 In Christ alone, who took on flesh Fullness of God in helpless Babe This gift of love and righteousness Scorned by the ones He came to save ‘Til on that cross, as Jesus died The wrath of God was satisfied For every sin on Him was laid Here in the death of Christ I live, I live
3 There in the ground, His body lay Light of the world by darkness slain Then bursting forth in glorious Day Up from the grave He rose again And as He stands in victory Sin’s curse has lost its grip on me For I am His and He is mine Bought with the precious blood of Christ
4 No guilt in life, no fear in death This is the power of Christ in me From life’s first cry to final breath Jesus commands my destiny No power of hell, no scheme of man Could ever pluck me from His hand ‘Til He returns or calls me home Here in the power of Christ I stand

Summary Of RCCG Open Heavens Devotional For Today – 2nd October 2025
God’s will for His children is to be above only and never settle for mediocrity. Average keeps people from reaching their full potential, while pressing forward for excellence positions you for greater glory. Like Elisha, who refused to settle for less and received a double portion of Elijah’s spirit, every believer must desire to go higher and achieve more rather than rejoice over little progress. True success is found in continually striving for the best that God has destined you to be, never being satisfied with “just enough.”

Message For Today RCCG Open Heavens Devotional – 2nd October 2025:
If you hate something, you will do everything to avoid it. When I was in secondary school, I and two of my friends were the best in mathematics. However, even though we scored above 90%, our mathematics teacher would always tell us that we didn’t do well because we didn’t score 100%.
At last, one day, we scored 100%, and we said, “Let’s go and see him to hear what he will say now.” We got to him, rejoicing, but our joy was cut short when he said, “Your mates are in the university, solving advanced maths, and you are rejoicing over 100% in elementary maths.” His comment made me hate anything less than the absolute best. This is why I get disturbed when I see people celebrating mediocrity.
Years ago, when secondary school results in Nigeria were presented as Grade 1, 2, 3, and Pass, the principal of a particular college in Lagos was rejoicing because, for the first time in the school’s history, one of the students got a Grade 3 result. However, another college principal wept because, for the first time, a student went as low as having a Grade 3 result.
As seen in today’s Bible reading, God’s will for His children is that they will be above ONLY. Hence, no Christian should ever settle for average. If you think you’ve attained your greatest height, you must know that it is someone else’ starting point. In Ezekiel 47:1-12, God showed Ezekiel a man with a measuring line in his hand, and for every thousand cubits he measured, the water level rose. It started from the ankle to the knee and then to the waist before it became a mighty river. Some people reach the ankle level of success and think they have arrived; they don’t understand that there are greater levels of success waiting ahead of them.
In (2 Kings 2:1-15), while the sons of the prophets were content with being average, Elisha pressed in for a double portion of Elijah’s spirit. The sons of the prophet knew it was time for Elijah to be taken away, and they even knew the day it would happen. However, they were satisfied with having revelation without power. Elisha, on the other hand, didn’t settle for average, and the Lord used him so mightily that we can never forget his name. People who settle for average never stand out.
Beloved, make up your mind to be the absolute best that God has destined you to be. Don’t settle for average.
KEY POINT:
You are destined to be above ONLY. Never settle for average.

3 Sweet hour of prayer! Sweet hour of prayer! Thy wings shall my petition bear To Him whose truth and faithfulness Engage the waiting soul to bless. And since He bids me seek His face, Believe His word, and trust His grace, I’ll cast on Him my every care, And wait for Thee, sweet hour of prayer!

Summary Of Open Heavens Tuesday, 30th September, 2025
God does not discriminate, and neither should we. He desires that all people—regardless of their past, status, or appearance—be saved and come to the knowledge of His truth. Throughout Scripture, we see examples like Paul, once a persecutor of Christians, who through God’s grace became a great apostle, and Ananias and Barnabas, who chose to accept and guide him rather than reject him. As believers, we are called to be vessels God can send to anyone, even those considered “too far gone,” offering them love, guidance, and the message of salvation. No one is beyond redemption, and showing Christlike compassion without discrimination reflects God’s heart for all humanity.

OPEN HEAVEN MESSAGE
OPEN HEAVENS TUESDAY, 30TH SEPTEMBER, 2025 Designed with canva powered by micromab
God loves believers, and He loves unbelievers too. In today’s Bible reading, we see that He wants all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. Just as God can send angels and other people to you, He also wants to be able to send you as He sent Philip to the Ethiopian eunuch.
He wants you to be the someone’s questions and the solution to people’s problems. He is looking for people to send like Peter, whom He set to Cornelius house to extend the good news to the Gentiles (Acts 10). When He sends you, I hope you won’t refuse the assignment, especially if the person He’s sending you to is considered to be a chronic sinner.
Nobody is too rotten to be saved. I have always said it, if I were God I wouldn’t have saved Adeboye. I was really rotten and had blasphemed God several times before I gave my life to Christ. However, look at me now: God’s grace is enabling me to lead millions of people to Himself.
Paul was a terrorist who persecuted Christians. I’m sure that if God had sent some people to preach to him, they would have refused because he could have had them arrested immediately. It took a visitation from Jesus to bring him to his knees, but after that, he needed Christians to guide him.
First, the Lord told Ananias about him (Acts 19:1-17). I am sure that if God had told some other Christians about Saul at that time, they would have shut down His voice, thinking it was satan trying to push them into trouble. However, Ananias was a true disciple who knew God’s voice and was ready to obey Him. He didn’t discriminate against Paul despite his sinful past. Barnabas also didn’t discriminate against Paul.
While other believers were scared of associating with Paul, Barnabas went to Tarsus to find him and bring him to Antioch, where they taught other people (Acts 11:25-26). The man who had formerly thrown believers in prison began to win souls for Christ.
Beloved, God can save anyone; no one is too far gone to be saved. He seeks believers like Ananias, whom He can send to those who have lived rough and reckless lives. He seeks disciples like Barnabas, who will look for such people and guide them in doing God’s assignment for their lives. Don’t discriminate against anyone; rather, help them get to know Christ more.
